Pferd & Jagd becomes PASSION PFERD
Focussed, positioned, target group-oriented - Pferd & Jagd, one of the leading trade fairs for riders and hunters, will be split into two independent events in future. One trade fair will be aimed specifically at riders and horse lovers, while the other will be designed specifically for hunters and anglers.

The new "PASSION PFERD" trade fair will celebrate its premiere this year and will take place on the previous date of Pferd & Jagd from 5 to 8 December. The popular shows "Night of the Horses" and "MiMaMo" will continue to be part of "Passion Horse". A total of eight halls guarantee the perfect trade fair mix with renowned trade exhibitors, a large arena, numerous forums, expert talks, live demos, influencer meetings, shows and other activities. In addition to the topic of horses, the trade fair will also cover the areas of country life and dog ownership.
Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG, commented on the changes: "Lower Saxony's tradition as a horse and hunting state with strong organisations in each case provides us with valuable impetus and a strong basis for a targeted realignment. With a clear focus on the respective needs of the target groups and optimised scheduling, we can make our events even more successful and strengthen them in the long term."
For the industry's most important associations, the reorganisation is the right way forward. Alexandra Duesmann, President of the Hanover Equestrian Sports Association: "Pferd & Jagd has always been a highlight for horse lovers in Lower Saxony. We welcome Deutsche Messe AG's decision, as it means that horse lovers and equestrian sport will have an event that meets their needs 100 per cent. The topic of horses can be represented there in all its many facets."
