Icelandic horse village
In the large Icelandic horse village in Hall 24, the IPZV Landesverband Hannover-Bremen (Hanover-Bremen Regional Association of the International Icelandic Horse Association) provides information about the popular gaited horse, and there is also a large selection of stands from farms and equestrian suppliers offering everything to do with Icelandic horses.
HELLO HORSE: Get involved, be amazed and discover horses
In the kids’ area in Hall 21, everything revolves around horses, games and plenty of hands-on fun. In collaboration with the Hanover Equestrian Association, the programme features exciting youth projects and the popular ‘Hobby Horsing’ activity.
Through crafts and painting, with wooden and bouncy horses, or by taking part in a hands-on quiz about ponies, children can discover the world of horses in a playful way.
The Kunterbunt Horse Theatre provides special entertainment every day in the arena of Hall 21.
Finally, ‘Pony Zeit’ is a very special experience: children can meet real ponies and gently stroke them. In the process, they learn in a playful way how to greet a horse properly, how it shows its feelings and what it’s allowed to eat – and, in the process, pick up plenty about how to handle horses correctly.

The whole world of horses!
Marvel, watch and cheer on the daily show sessions featuring horses from all over the world, fantastic MASTERCLASSES (featuring, amongst others, Kenzie Dysli, Katharina Hemmer, Christoph Hess, Matthes Röckener, Daniel Schneiders, Anne Krüger-Degener and many more) and exciting cups such as the Working Equitation Trade Fair Cup (Friday), the lead-rein class for the little stars of tomorrow organised by the Hanover Equestrian Association (Sunday) and the thrilling vaulting buck Cup ‘Who will steal the show from the Brüsewitz brothers’ (Sunday).
